Express Mobility
The Nordplus Program promotes the idea that partner educational institutions can apply for short period mobility for their students. The text from Nordplus says
Students may also be awarded grants for shorter exchanges, so-called express mobility grants. Mobility should form a part of the overall studies, for example by way of a virtual course where physical mobility is incorporated in the course. Express mobility grants are also available if it can be demonstrated that they would help the students make use of the partner institution’s education programme.

Guidelines for support from the Nordplus Programme
Express mobility grants are awarded according to the same guidelines, criteria and rules as regular student mobility grants.
In the last curriculum development conference it was decided to aim for common courses on the master level where many of the partners adhere to the same week in the semester for opening up opportunities for students to select courses in partner institutions. This model has been run successfully in our partner network KUNO and from that experience Cirrus wants to do the same. The first such express activity is to take place in the spring semester of 2009.
